Our conference rooms at Streetsboro City Schools, including a few other spaces like media centers and multi-purpose classrooms, are all named in honor of space exploration.

Vanguard – Conference Room (20 people)
The Vanguard conference room is named after the satellite Vanguard 1, the oldest manmade satellite still in orbit, and is located in the Technology House, 1888 OH-303, Streetsboro, OH 44241.

Neil Armstrong – Conference Room (12 people)
The Neil Armstrong Conference Room honors Neil Armstrong, from Ohio, the first human to walk on the Moon, and is located in the main office of the high school.
Buzz Aldrin – Conference Room (12 people)
The Buzz Aldrin Conference Room honors Buzz Aldrin, the second human to set foot on the Moon, and is located in the main office of the high school, next to the Pioneer Media Center.
Pioneer – Library / Media Center (Mixed Use Flex Space)
The Pioneer Media Center is named after space missions designed for exploring other planets.
Redstone – Multi-Purpose Classroom (80 people)
The Redstone Multi-Purpose Classroom is named after the Redstone family of rockets that helped launch some of the first satellites and humans into space, and is located in the academic wing, in room 110.
Saturn V – Staff Lounge & Training Room
The Saturn V Staff Lounge & Training Room is named after the three-stage liquid-fueled super heavy-lift launch vehicle that was developed to support the Apollo program for human exploration of the Moon and was later used to launch Skylab, the first American space station.

John Glenn – Conference Room (10 people)
The John Glenn Conference Room honors Ohio’s own, who became the first American to orbit Earth, and is located in the main office of the middle school.
